A sewing thread that is suitable for quilting, sewing or matt embroidery. During production, Silk-Finish Cotton undergoes a mercerization process. This technology makes the sewing thread more tearproof, low-shrink and iron-proof.  Metttler Cotton 50 can be used with the sewing machine and is perfectly suited for longarm quilting. A soft, smooth, and silk-like thread that is both strong and shrinkage-resistant.
